मराठी भाषेला अभिजात दर्जा मिळाल्यानंतर पुण्यामध्ये पहिल्यांदाच विश्व मराठी संमेलनाचे आयोजन करण्यात आले आहे. या संमेलनाचे उद्घाटन काल मुख्यमंत्री आणि दोन्ही उपमुख्यमंत्री तसेच भाषा मंत्री उदय सामंत यांच्या हस्ते करण्यात आले. या संमेलनाला भरभरून प्रतिसाद मिळत असल्याचे चित्र पाहायला मिळतय. पुणे शहरच नव्हे तर पुणे शहराच्या बाहेरून देखील नागरिक हे प्रदर्शन बघण्यासाठी तसेच विविध विषयांवरील पुस्तकं खरेदी करण्यासाठी येत आहे. शालेय विद्यार्थ्यांना आपल्या मराठी भाषेची गोडी निर्माण होण्यासाठी तसेच माहिती होण्यासाठी शालेय सहल देखील या संमेलनासाठी आलेल्या बऱ्याच पाहायला मिळाल्या..
After Marathi language was given elite status, a Vishwa Marathi sammelan has been organized in Pune for the first time. This sammelan was inaugurated yesterday by the Chief Minister and both Deputy Chief Ministers as well as Language Minister Uday Samant. It is seen that this conference is getting a huge response. Citizens are coming not only from Pune city but also from outside Pune city to see this exhibition and to buy books on various subjects. Many school students also came for this sammelan to develop a taste for their Marathi language and to gain knowledge.
