मुख्यमंत्री लाडकी बहीण योजनेच्या पार्श्वभूमीवर तसेच अन्य लोकप्रिय घोषणांमुळे राज्य सरकारच्या तिजोरीवर पडणाऱ्या आर्थिक भुर्दंडामुळे राज्यासमोर आता आर्थिक आव्हान उभे ठाकले आहे. त्यामुळे राज्याला उत्पन्नाचे नवे स्राोत शोधण्याची गरज असल्याचे मत व्यक्त करीत त्यासाठी उच्चस्तरीय समिती स्थापन करण्याची घोषणा मुख्यमंत्री देवेंद्र फडणवीस यांनी विधान परिषदेत केली.
