भरघाव डंपरने फूट पाथवर झोपलेल्या नऊ जणांना चिरडले असून यातील तिघांचा जागीच मृत्यू झाला आहे. यामध्ये दोन बालकांचा समावेश आहे. तर सहा जण जखमी झालेत. जखमी मधील तिघांची प्रकृती चिंताजनक आहे. ही घटना मध्यरात्री १ वाजण्याच्या सुमारास वाघोलीतील केसनंद फाट्यावर घडली. डंपर चालक मद्यधुंद अवस्थेत होता असे प्रथमदर्शी सांगतात. संपूर्ण घटनेची सविस्तर माहिती अप्पर पोलीस आयुक्त मनोज पाटील यांनी दिली आहे.
वैभवी रितेश पवार (वय १ वर्ष), वैभव रितेश पवार (वय २ वर्ष), रीनेश नितेश पवार (वय ३० वर्ष) अशी मृतांची नावे आहेत. तर सहा जण जखमी आहेत. जखमींना ससून रुग्णालयात हलविण्यात आले आहे. हे सर्व कामगार आहेत. रविवारी रात्रीच ते अमरावती येथून कामासाठी आले होते. फूटपाथ वर १२ जण झोपले होते. तर बाकी फूटपाथ च्या बाजूला झोपड्यात झोपले होते. हे सर्व मजुरी करणारे कामगार आहेत. भरघाव डंपर सरळ फूटपाथवर चढून झोपलेल्यांच्या अंगावर गेला. डंपर चालक वय वर्ष २६ वर्षाचा असून प्रथमदर्शी चालक मध्य धुंद असल्याचा दिसून येत आहे. या चालकाची वैद्यकीय तपासणी केली आहे परंतु अहवाल येणे बाकी असून या घटनेचा पुढील तपास देखील सुरू आहे. पुढील तपासामध्ये आणखी काय गोष्टी समोर येणार हे पाहणं देखील तितकंच महत्त्वाचं असणार आहे.
